Oversight bodies to probe UK police sharing witnesses’ migration status with Home Office

Civil rights groups lodged successful complaint

The Independent Office for Police Conduct, the College of Policing and HMICFRS will investigate a ‘super-complaint’ about the UK police sharing witness and victim migration status with the Home Office.

Civil liberty groups Liberty and Southall Black Sisters had lodged the complaint last year.
