Vanderbilt University study reveals the extent of Android and Google data collection

Research by computer science professor Douglas Schmidt of Vanderbilt University provides a detailed insight into the amount and type of data that Google harvests from Android and iOS phones.

It confirms that Chrome harvests data from 'Incognito mode', all the ways that Google uses to track location data from mobile devices and how it combines data from Google Analytics and DoubleClick.
